Goals: The complex molecular processes involved in signaling pathways are virtually impossible to analyze by cell biological experiments alone. Furthermore, what is clearly lacking is an insight into the dynamics of these signalling pathways and their interaction with each other. Mathematical and computational modelling of these complex systems can provide the means for presenting a comprehensive and integrated view on the operation of these signalling routes.

Achievements: We have built an integrated, cross-linked, and easy-to-search database of experimental data from multiple sources and technologies (Ref 1 and 2) and the data describing the model of the Rho activated cell migration pathway (this includes such information as components that interact within the pathways, their interacting partners, details of the interaction and associated kinetic parameters, sequence of events, and immediate and delayed effect of each interaction).
