Undergraduate education: I majored in biology at the Universities of Cologne, Stockholm and Berlin and graduated in 2004 with a MSc (German Diplom) in biology from the “Freie Universitaet Berlin”.
Statement of research interests: My main research interest is to understand the role of RhoE/Rnd 3 in endothelial cells and especially how RhoE contributes to the integrity of the endothelium as well as its possible role in modulating endothelial barrier function in the process of inflammation.
Expectations from Integramm: I am happy to be part of the INTEGRAMM program. I always enjoyed studying and working in an international atmosphere. Therefore I am really looking forward to meeting the other INTEGRAMM students and faculty again. I think the INTEGRAMM program is a great program and option for PhD students to perform their PhD studies in a scientific strong stimulating environment.
